Objective/Meaning Against the backdrop of the development of the cross-Strait integrated development demonstration zone, the advancement of agricultural and rural modernization, and the strategy for comprehensive rural revitalization, the educational practices of Jimei Senior Agricultural Vocational School embody profound contemporary significance and important practical implications for the cross-Strait integrated development of agricultural vocational education.

Methods/Procedures Adopting literature research and historical case analysis, this paper systematically sorts out school archives, local historical materials and existing relevant research documents, and deconstructs the formation context and operational logic of the school’s talent cultivation model featuring “localization, practicality and dynamism”, educational ecosystem built on “industry-education integration, school-local symbiosis and resource aggregation”, and exchange framework centered on “talent mobility and cross-regional collaboration”.

Results/Conclusions Cross-Strait agricultural vocational colleges can draw on this institution’s experience to build a cross-Strait collaborative mechanism for vocational education featuring joint construction and resource sharing; advance the co-development of curricula and majors, joint establishment of practical training and research platforms, and sharing of talent information; uphold the original aspiration of school-local symbiosis, boost in-depth industry-education integration, and realize the interactive upgrading of practical training bases and rural industries; expand open service functions, establish regular exchange platforms, and revitalize the agricultural cultural heritage linking Fujian and Taiwan.
