Purpose/Significance In the context of economic globalization and regional integration, exploring the rural revitalization strategy during a critical stage of cross-strait relations and deepening the integration of various fields between the two sides is of significant importance for maintaining peace and stability across the strait, enhancing the well-being of people on both sides, and promoting common prosperity.
Methods/Process According to the guiding ideology of deepening cross-strait integration across all fields proposed in the report of the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China, the interactive relationship between cross-strait integration and rural revitalization is first clarified, emphasizing the significance of the concept of inclusive growth and social capital theory. Furthermore, an in-depth analysis is conducted on the cross-strait integration within the rural revitalization strategy from three perspectives: economic coordination, diversified governance, and cultural integration.
Results/Conclusions The current process of cross-strait integration faces challenges such as difficulties in policy implementation, market access barriers, insufficient participation of Taiwanese compatriots in rural areas, and resource shortages. Based on these findings, recommendations are proposed to strengthen unified leadership, optimize policies benefiting Taiwan, promote multi-dimensional cooperation in cross-strait rural areas, and build a rural revitalization industrial system. These measures aim to facilitate deeper integration at the grassroots level and provide a solid foundation for the long-term stable development of cross-strait relations.
