Impact of European Union Timber Regulation on China Wood Forest Products Exports

European Union Timber Regulation was implemented formally in March, 2013. It has some impacts on China’s exports of wood forest products. This paper introduced the background and contents of European Union Timber Regulation, and analyzed its positive and negative impacts on China wood forest products exports, then put forward suggestions such as promoting the establishment of forest certification system, implementing diversified market strategy, strengthening enterprise’s supply chain management.
