Countermeasures and Situations on New Urbanization Development in Fujian

Since the reform and opening up, the urbanization development urbanization are proceeding rapidly in Fujian. By the end of 2013, the urban population reached 2.293 million, the urbanization rate increased to 60.8%, higher than the national average. This paper analyzed the situation of the scale of urbanization, urban agglomeration and radiation, infrastructure, public utilities, residential environment and urban system in Fujian, and discussed the main problems faced by process of new urbanization construction in Fujian. Lase, this paper put forward corresponding countermeasures for the intensive, smart, green, lowcarbon new urbanization path taking the ecological demonstration zone as an opportunity.
