Study on the Future Development Strategy of the Camellia Industry in Fujian

hrough analyzing the development status of Fujian camellia industry, this article studied the superiorities and the existing shortages of Fujian camellia industry, and discussed the future development of Fujian camellia industry. The results of analysis indicated that Fujian camellia industry is going on the track of sound progress with specific region superiority, abundant varieties and unimpeded sales channels. However, there are some shortages existing in the industry scale, market competitiveness, anti-disaster ability, advanced technology, service system and so on. For the further development of Fujian camellia industry in the future, we suggested optimizing the industrial structure, increasing the support strength from government, implementing uniform guidelines, increasing investment of high technology, expanding the sales channels, and increasing the cooperation and communication between Fujian and Taiwan.
