Family Farm: Formation, Characteristics and Challenges of Ningbo Model

As one of the five models, Family Farms in Ningbo have attracted national attention and become a model across the nation.Through questionnaire and field research, this paper primarily analyzed and discussed the formation process, overall characteristics as well as new situations and problems of current Ningbo during the further development of Family Farm.Although Family Farms in Ningbo has promising prospect and solid foundation, there also distinctly exist problems and challenges like short period of field circulation, high cost of land, a lack of agricultural talents and rural service system, the low quality of farm managers and employees ,etc.
