 Anxi County as the first major tea-producing county and the largest tea production base, tea industry has become the root of survival for the millions of people in Anxi County and the source of development of Anxi. In the process of propelling county economic construction by developing agriculture through science and technology and nurturing of regional industries with local advantages, it is necessary to strength the pillar and competitive industries strategic position of tea industry. This paper mainly elaborates the significances of propelling county economy development by developing agriculture through science and technology, and analyzes the situations and the existing problems about propelling county economy development by developing agriculture through science and technology in Anxi.
