SWOT Analysis on Tobacco Industry in Longyan District

The strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats of tobacco industry in Longyan were analyzed by using SWOT method. The results showed that the strengths for tobacco industry development in Longyan included advantageous geographic environment and characteristic tobacco plant, the weaknesses included insufficient technological innovation ability, low enterprise operation efficiency, weak brand competitiveness. Meanwhile, this paper pointed out the opportunities that tobacco industry in Longyan faced, and put forward the countermeasures to promote the development of tobacco industry in Longyan.
