Farmers’ Health Risks and Health Risk Management

Health risk is the farmers’principal risk in rural China. In this paper, the importance of good health to human survival and development was discussed, the health risks which the households faced with and the strategies for dealing with the risks were summarized, and the relationship between health risk and poverty was analyzed. In addition, the role of New Rural Cooperative Medical System in avoiding health risk was proposed.
