Objective/Meaning The development countermeasures of the agricultural sci-tech novelty searching in the era of big data were discussed, so as to promote the improvement of agricultural scientific research level and innovation ability.
Methods/Procedures The statistical analysis of the novelty retrieval projects on the sci-tech novelty searching platform in Fujian Academy of Agricultural Sciences from 2019 to 2023 was conducted. Then, in combination with the practical situation of the sci-tech novelty searching in Fujian Academy of Agricultural Sciences, the management status and existing problems were summarized. And the corresponding development countermeasures were put forward.
Results/Conclusions The results showed that the service platform of sci-tech novelty searching in Fujian Academy of Agricultural Sciences possessed a relatively comprehensive collection of literature resources and a good guarantee system for the novelty searching service. However, there were also some problems in the actual operation, such as the uncomprehensive comprehensive quality of novelty retrieval personnel, too single service mode, and the quality control needed to be improved. Therefore, the agricultural scientific research novelty search institution should fully combine their own advantages, and strive to find the effectual solutions by perfecting the operational mechanism, improving the quality of novelty retrieval personnel, updating the service thinking, actively exploring the work innovation, and opening up the new channels of the personalized novelty searching service.
