Achievements, Problems and Countermeasures of Agricultural Technology Extension Carried out in Science and Technology Courtyards in Fujian

Objective/Meaning By analyzing the specific problems existing in the promotion of agricultural technology in science and technology courtyards, the study aimed to improve the efficiency of serving the revitalization of rural industries, and provide reference for optimizing the operation mechanism of science and technology courtyards and improving the service efficiency in similar areas.

Methods/Procedures In this study, six science and technology courtyards created in Fujian Province from June 2019 to June 2025 were selected as the key research objects. By combining with the field investigation and questionnaire analysis, the practice mode and effect of agricultural technology promotion were investigated, the main problems in the operation were identified, and the corresponding countermeasures were put forward.

Results/Conclusions The study found that the science and technology courtyards have achieved remarkable results in promoting the industrial revitalization, achievement transformation, talent training and the innovation in science popularization, but there were also some problems, such as the difficulty in starting the demonstration drive, the need to strengthen the performance appraisal, the imbalance of the role playing, and the weak guarantee of the promotion funds. Based on this, some countermeasures were put forward, such as establishing the trust relationship, strengthening the objective management, promoting the balanced development and increasing the financial support.
