Development Status of Taiwan’s Organic Agriculture and Its Enlightenments to Fujian

 In recent years, Taiwan has made certain achievements in organic farming. In this paper, a study was made to compare the management models, certification systems and marketing methods of organic agriculture in Taiwan and Fujian. Then, by learning from the experience of Taiwan in organic farming, a series of countermeasures were proposed which included strengthening the promotion of organic agriculture, increasing financial subsidies, investing more for scientific research in organic agriculture and improving the certification system of organic agricultural products, thus to accelerate the development of organic agriculture in Fujian.
