Objective/Meaning The cross-strait integrated development is an inevitable path to achieve the spiritual affinity of the people on both sides of the Taiwan Strait and promote the complete reunification of the motherland. In this study, the scientific analysis on the research logic of cross-strait integrated development was conducted, and the accurate grasp of the research hotspots and evolution trends of cross-strait integrated development was achieved, aiming to provide theoretical support for the high-quality promotion of cross-strait integrated development.
Methods/Procedures Based on 973 relevant literatures on the cross-strait integration and development collected in CNKI database from 1992 to 2025, the CiteSpace software was used to analyze the knowledge map visualization, and the research hotspots and evolution trends in this field were discussed.
Results/Conclusions The study showed that the key words such as “integrated development”, “Fujian and Taiwan”, “rural revitalization” and “industrial integration” constituted the core nodes in this field, and the core research topics were formed around the key carriers, support systems and innovative pathways. The burst detection analysis of keywords further highlighted the frontier hotspots in this field, including “cross-strait rural industrial integration”, “cross-strait youth cultural integration” and “consolidating the policy foundation for cross-strait integrated development”. The future research should focus on deepening the cross-strait industrial integration, enhancing the appeal of Chinese culture to young people in Taiwan, and establishing a long-term mechanism for the in-depth integration of agriculture between Fujian and Taiwan, thereby providing the solid support for the high-quality development of cross-strait integration.
