Quantitative Evaluation of Soybean Production Efficiency in Heilongjiang Province Based on DEA Method

Objective/Meaning 
The situation of soybean industry in China is not good. Heilongjiang province is the largest soybean production area in China, whose output accounts for more than 30% of the whole country.Through empirical analysis of total factor productivity of soybean production, the feasibility of expanding soybean self-sufficiency rate in China is tested.

Methods/Procedures 
In this study, the input-output index of soybean in Heilongjiang Province from 2001 to 2016 was selected, and the DEAP software was adopted, to construct a DEA model for empirical analysis.

Results/Conclusions 
The results showed that soybean production in Heilongjiang Province reached the DEA effective state in 2002 and 2004, weak DEA effective state in 2001 and 2006, while non-DEA effective state in the rest of the year, indicating that the investment structure of soybean production in Heilongjiang Province was not very reasonable in most of the 16 years.
