Abstract

Objective/Meaning
The purpose of this paper is to provide countermeasures and suggestions for the promotion of traceability systems by empirical analysis on the records of tea farmers' production process and its influencing factors.
Methods/Procedures
Based on the survey data of tea planting farmers in Fujian Province from September to October in 2016, the current situation of recording behavior in tea production process and the main influencing factors were analyzed.
Results/Conclusions
Investigation showed that "the sale to industrialized organizations" and "the hearing of the traceability system of agricultural product quality" had a significant positive impact on the implementation of production records; "purchasing pesticides requires purchase cards of agricultural materials" would inhibit the recording behavior of tea farmers. Accordingly, the government should increase the propaganda of traceability system of agricultural product quality and safety, track the implementation of regulatory standards and guarantee systems, and timely adjust or revise the possible deviations, and giving full play to the leading role of industrialized organizations in the construction of traceability system for peasant households.
