Abstract: With the deepening of the construction of Fuzhou Free Trade Zone, the financial industry in FTZ has developed rapidly, and the demand structure for talents in financial market has also changed greatly, making the structural contradiction of talents become increasingly prominent. Based on the background of the construction of Fuzhou Free Trade Zone, by taking Dongfang College of Fujian Agriculture and Forestry University as the research object, the influence of FTZ construction on Fuzhou’s finance and the market demand status of financial talents under the background of FTZ construction were analyzed. Meanwhile, considering the practical situation of financial talents training in Dongfang College, the training modes for applied financial talents in Dongfang College were explored so as to cultivate high-quality applied financial talents to meet the needs of FTZ construction.
