Abstract:
Objective/Significance With the acceleration of urbanization, traditional villages generally encounter severe challenges such as inefficient space utilization and broken cultural inheritance. This study aims to explore a new path of village space optimization from the perspective of cultural ecology, so as to provide solid theoretical support and practical guidance for protecting the essence of traditional culture, improving the efficiency of village space and promoting the in-depth implementation of rural revitalization strategy.
Method/Process Based on the theory of cultural ecology, this paper analyzes the interaction mechanism between spatial form and culture, society and ecology in Damei Village, Jinjiang Town, Chengmai County, Hainan Province by using field investigation, space syntax analysis and systematic research methods. Through the observation of physical space, the dynamic analysis of social organization and the accumulation of ecological knowledge, the co-evolution law of spatial form and its complex ecosystem is revealed, and the targeted optimization strategy is proposed.
Result/Conclusion It is found that Damei Village maintains cultural identity and collective memory through the interaction of material space and immaterial practice, forming a unique complex ecosystem evolution model. On this basis, the author puts forward the village space optimization strategy from three aspects: formulating the overall space protection framework, promoting the space by cultural ecology, and rebuilding the cultural spiritual home, which has important reference value for the protection and development of regional villages under the background of rural revitalization.
