Abstract:
Objective/Meaning It aims to enhance the resilience of new agricultural entities in Shandong Province to cope with the challenges of climate change, market fluctuations and resource constraints, and provide methodological reference for the practice of resilience evaluation of new agricultural entities in other regions, which can effectively safeguard food security and promote the sustainable development of the rural economy.
Methods/Procedures Combining the theoretical frameworks of organisational resilience and agricultural resilience, a multi-dimensional resilience evaluation system for new agricultural management entities is constructed, covering stability, adaptability and development. The entropy weight method is used to determine the weights of each index and then the TOPSIS model is used to carry out a comprehensive evaluation, and the data of new agricultural management entities in Shandong Province in 2019-2023 are used as an example to analyse the characteristics of their resilience evolution and the key factors affecting them, based on which, the corresponding policy recommendations are put forward.
Results/Conclusions The study shows that strengthening the stability of agricultural production, optimising the adaptability of organisational structure and sustained investment in technological development are the core paths driving resilience, while the level of socialised services, the degree of agricultural insurance coverage and investment in scientific and technological research and development have a significant contribution to resilience.
