Objective/Meaning  The exploration on the mechanism and optimization path of cultural industry empowering the rural revitalization aimed to provide reference for the deep integration of cultural industry and rural revitalization, in order to promote the rural comprehensive revitalization and help accelerate the modernization of agriculture and rural areas.

Methods/Procedures  On the basis of field investigation, through the methods of literature research and case analysis, Guanzhong Village of Minhou County in Fuzhou City was taken as a case, and the specific practice and existing dilemma of its cultural industry empowering the rural revitalization were explored. Then, the targeted optimization path was put forward.

Results/Conclusions  The results showed that: by means of cultural guidance, industrial driving, government guidance and multiple participation, Guanzhong Village in Minhou County promoted the rural revitalization from the five aspects: empowering the industry prosperity, ecological livability, rural civilization, effective governance and affluent living. However, there were still some difficulties in the process of development, such as low industrial linkage effect, insufficient participation kinetic energy, shortage of talent support and insufficient propaganda of government. In view of this, the optimization path of cultural industry empowering the rural revitalization were put forward from the aspects of policy support, industrial integration, technology drive, talent convergence and so on.
