Abstract:
Currently, the progress of migrant workers’ citizenization is in the stagnant stage, and cracking “semiurbanization” becomes the key link. With the deepening of industrialization and urbanization in China, the problems of the new generation of peasant workers’ citizenizaiton increasingly prominent. Based on the Pushpull theory, this paper analyzed the factors influenced the integration of urban and rural development from the intergenerational differences of the new generation of peasant workers and the factors of “push” and “pull”. The “pull” from the city and the “push” from the countryside are the favorable factors to attract the new generation of peasant workers into the cities. And the “push” from the city and the “pull” from the countryside are the resistance for the new generation of peasant workers into the cities. Finally, this paper put forward the countermeasures for the citizenization of the new generation peasant workers.
