Abstract:  A survey research has been done involving 241 farmers in Yong’an County in Fujian and Xinfeng County in Jiangxi. According to the survey, the influence factors of farmers’ willingness to pay for policyrelated forestry insurance has been analyzed. The main conclusion includes that farmers’ willingnesstopay has scale effect, the willingness to pay for the forestry insurance will increase when forestry income become the main source of family income, education that farmers have received exerts differential influence on willingnesstopay, multiple market segmentation and differences between regions have occurred in forestry insurance market. Finally, some corresponding suggestions that might improve the system of policyrelated forest insurance are put forward.
