Abstract: The implementation of the new standard for the national poverty relief in 2011 marked poverty relief and development entering the new stage in China. Under the background of the implementation of the new standard for poverty relief, this paper summarized the development history of poverty relief and development in Fujian, analyzed the problem manifestation of poverty relief and development. And by using the method of empirical research, the countermeasures of poverty relief and development in Fujian were discussed.
