Abstract:  GPON technology is a FiberToTheHome network deployment which has been widely used by internet service provider. It can improve network bandwidth significantly and can be used in various environments. As the project development of Yuxi Modern Circular Agricultural Scitech Demonstration Park and the expansion of the scale of network intelligent management system, the deployment and management of the project cannot be perfectly match by the existing traditional LAN. This article provides network construction by GPON network in Yuxi Modern Circular Agricultural Scitech Demonstration Park. It analyzes the applicability of GPON network in agricultural production by equipment performance, deployment, management maintains and cost to achieve goals of facility agricultural production and popularization.
