Abstract: Enterprises “going out” is an important part of accelerating change in the mode of economic development in the new time and a significant symbol of participating in the internationalization of global competition. In the new period, for the foreign direct investment to occupy a favorable position, Fujian enterprises “going out” should not continue to follow the traditional practice of blind following, but should focus on some key industries and develop in a differentiated manner. This article bases on the situations of Fujian province, begins with the distribution and characteristics of the industry with regard to the current Fujian enterprises “going out”, analyzes the key factors for industry selection of “going out”. The focus of discussion is adjusted in accordance with the different types of industries, with the aim of providing suggestions for Fujian Province key industrial enterprises “going out”.
