Abstract:
This paper investigated the students from Sanming University in Fujian and Shoufu University in Taiwan by means of questionnaire, and analyzed the factors influencing the students to lodge in family hotels during their tours.The result indicated that the students from Fujian and those from Taiwan showed similarities and difference both in the lodge characteristics and the factors influencing their choice.For instance, the students from different university both take the natural landscape and environment as the key factor influencing their choice, while have a different attitude on the price factor.The paper finally put forward some suggestions for developing the tourism market of university students, including the rational use of natural resources, the highlight of the local characteristics of the Min Culture, the improvement of services to enhance the affinity, and providing high quality and inexpensive items.
