Abstract:  With more attention being paid to leisure life, the number of leisure farm keep increasing. However, it is not quantity but quality that counts in the development of current leisure agriculture industry. How to form distinguishing features of leisure farm and create different styles has become a major issue for the farmers. Many methods, including special foods, are applied to create distinguishing features. This paper examined the special foods of Taiwan's Nan Yuan Garden Leisure Farm and analyzed their viewpoints, including philosophy, specialty ingredients select, menu design and health food. Finally we found some clues for using farm resource to develop special foods.
