Abstract: “Mingjiao 5” is one of the pepper hybrids with early maturity and has the characteristics such as high yield, strong spicy, aromatic flavor and less occurrences of diseases and pests.In order to enhancing the application of this new variety, this paper summarized the characteristics of "Mingjiao 5" and its cultivation techniques in middle-high altitude mountainous area in Fujian.
