Abstract:
The aerobic plate count is important in the food microbiological examination and widely used in evaluation of food hygiene and safety.The reliability of evaluations is depended on the accuracy and the credibility of the aerobic plate count.This paper summarized some cautions on the use of national standard method for aerobic plate count in food microbiological examination, and reviewed some common rapid detection techniques for aerobic plate count in food microbiological study in recent years.
