Abstract:
Objective/Meaning Both Fujian and Taiwan enjoy the advantage of the "Five Bonds". Deepening the integrated development of agricultural science and technology between Fujian and Taiwan is of great significance for promoting in-depth exchanges and cooperation in agriculture between Fujian and Taiwan in the new era and for facilitating the construction of the demonstration area for the integrated development across the Taiwan Strait.
Methods/Procedures Using comparative and historical research methods and perspectives, this study compares the differences in the allocation of agricultural science and technology resources between Fujian and Taiwan, examining aspects such as human resources, financial resources, organizational resources, and output of agricultural scientific and technological achievements. Furthermore, it summarizes and organizes the main forms and characteristics of agricultural science and technology exchanges and cooperation between Fujian and Taiwan.
Results/Conclusions Based on comparative analysis and taking into account the forms and characteristics of agricultural science and technology exchanges and cooperation between Fujian and Taiwan, this study proposes refined options for the integrated development of agricultural science and technology in both regions, including collaborative innovation, joint construction of parks, and market-oriented operations. Finally, it outlines the implementation pathways for the integrated development of agricultural science and technology between Fujian and Taiwan.
