Abstract:
Objective/Meaning The integrated agricultural development between Fujian and Taiwan is an important part of the construction of the cross-strait integrated development demonstration area. The integration of industry and education and cultural empowerment can provide core support for cultivating young talents for the agricultural integration between Fujian and Taiwan.
Methods/Procedures The realistic basis of agricultural integration development between Fujian and Taiwan was systematically analyzed, the development bottleneck was explored, and the targeted countermeasures were put forward.
Results/Conclusions The study showed that the integrated development of agriculture between Fujian and Taiwan has achieved phased results in industrial complementarity, joint training of talents and grass-roots exchanges, but at the same time, there was a shallow level of integration of production and education, insufficient exploration of homologous farming culture between Fujian and Taiwan, and poor implementation of relevant policies. In terms of the integration of production and education, the talent training mechanism was not perfect, the curriculum could not keep up with the development of modern agriculture, and Taiwan enterprises had low participation. In terms of culture, the forms of communication were single, and there was a lack of long-term communication channels. The young people from Taiwan had limited understanding of the farming origins shared by Fujian and Taiwan. In view of the existing shortcomings, the countermeasures were put forward, including improving the integration platform of production and education, building the exchange channels for the agricultural talent training on both sides of the Straits, exploring the common connotation of farming culture, promoting the educational inheritance of farming and reading culture, optimizing the transmission mechanism of policy publicity, and improving the supporting guarantee of agricultural industry chain.
