Objective/Meaning  The rural ecological revitalization is an important task to promote rural revitalization in the new era, and the common prosperity is the ultimate goal of agricultural and rural modernization. The two are deeply coupled in terms of subject, logic and development goals. Clarifying their symbiotic mechanism can help achieve the common prosperity of green and rich, and provide theoretical support for promoting the common prosperity and accelerating the modernization of agriculture and rural areas based on the ecological construction.

Methods/Procedures Based on the literature review and theoretical analysis, the existing relevant research was sorted out, and the internal mechanism of their coupling was analyzed. Adhering to the three principles of the unity of equal development and ecological justice, the simultaneous development of farmers’ subject and ecological value shaping, and the integration of green technology and digital ecology, the implementation approaches were systematically explored from the three levels: consolidating the foundation, achieving synergistic advancement, and fostering co-governance and shared benefits.

Results/Conclusions  The research showed that the common prosperity and rural ecological revitalization were highly compatible, forming a development pattern of mutual promotion and common progress. Through the practical pathways such as strengthening the rural green industrial clusters, building up the value identity of ecological civilization, building an ecological governance community, and cultivating the new productive forces in agriculture, it was possible to effectively drive the high-quality development of rural ecologicalization, help the rural revitalization to improve quality and efficiency in an all-round way, and realize the coordinated promotion of ecological protection and common prosperity.
