Abstract:
Objective/Meaning Under the macro background of cross-strait integration and development, the enlightenment of Taiwan’s community governance experience to the rural revitalization in mainland China was explored, in order to promote the exchanges and cooperation between the two sides in the field of community governance and rural revitalization, and jointly promote the development of social integration on both sides of the straits.
Methods/Procedures On the basis of field investigation, by using the method of literature research and analytic induction, the main experience and mode of community governance in Taiwan were deeply analyzed through comparison and reference. Then, the strategic suggestions were put forward based on the actual situation and challenges of rural revitalization in Sichuan Province, China.
Results/Conclusions The results showed that the rural revitalization was not an overnight process. It required time, patience and sustained effort. Faced with many existing challenges currently, such as the single industrial structure, low participation of residents, and the pressure on ecological environment, it was necessary to respond with more firm determination, more scientific planning, and more pragmatic measures.
