Analysis on the Influencing Factors of the International Competitiveness of Coffee in Yunnan Province Based on Porter's Diamond Model

    目的/意义 分析云南省咖啡出口现状,探析其国际竞争力及影响因素,以提升其竞争力。
    方法/过程 采用联合国商品贸易统计数据库数据,以波特钻石模型为框架,应用多元线性回归对云南省咖啡国际竞争力影响因素进行分析。
    结果/结论 结果显示,云南省咖啡产业总产值、咖啡国内消费量、物流运输费用和中国政府的咖啡产业财政补贴额对提高其咖啡出口国际竞争力具有显著正向影响,而咖啡企业数量对提高其咖啡出口国际竞争力具有显著的负向影响。云南省应开拓新兴消费市场,打造本土咖啡品牌,规范咖啡行业协会,从而促进咖啡国际竞争力提高。

     

    Abstract:
    Objective/Meaning The paper describes the development of Yunnan coffee export and explores the international competitiveness of Yunnan coffee and the affecting factors.
    Methods/Procedures In the context of Porter's Diamond Model, the paper analyzes the influence factors of the international competitiveness of Yunnan coffee by using the data of the United Nations Commodity Trade Statistics and Multiple Linear Regression.
    Results/Conclusions The total output value of Yunnan coffee industry, the domestic consumption of Yunnan coffee, the logistics transportation cost of Yunnan, and the financial subsidy of Chinese government to Yunnan coffee industry have significant positive impacts on the improvement of the international competitiveness of Yunnan coffee export, while the number of Yunnan coffee enterprises has a significant negative impact on the improvement of the international competitiveness of Yunnan coffee export. Yunnan Province should explore new consumer markets, build local coffee brands, and standardize coffee industry associations so as to improve the international competitiveness of Yunnan coffee.
