Abstract:
Objective/Meaning In the process of realizing the rural revitalization, the research on the factors that affected the transformation of migrant workers’ willingness to return home to start businesses into entrepreneurial behaviors and its mechanism of action could better help the migrant workers to start businesses, promote their income growth, and narrow the gap between the urban and rural areas.
Methods/Procedures The method of literature research was used to sort out the relevant research on migrant workers’ returning home to start businesses from 2010 to 2022, and the influencing factors for the transformation of migrant workers’ willingness to return home to start businesses into entrepreneurial behaviors were explored from the factors that affected the migrant workers’ willingness to return home to start businesses and their entrepreneurial behaviors.
Results/Conclusions The research showed that the research themes of the domestic scholars on the willingness and behavior of migrant workers returning home to start businesses were roughly similar, which could be summarized as the current situation, influencing factors of migrant workers to return home to start businesses and its mechanism of action. However, there were some differences in the content, method and research depth. Based on this, the countermeasures were put forward including paying special attention to the reasons for the deviation of migrant workers’ willingness and behaviors to return home to start businesses caused by the family economic supporting policies and evaluating the practical role of these supporting policies in promoting the migrant workers to return home to start businesses.
