Objective/Meaning  Farmers’ production professional cooperative is a new type of organization form of social and economic development, as well as an important carrier to construct modern agricultural system and a new way to realize farmers’ income growth. By studying the development of farmers’ professional cooperatives in Pingnan County, it is of practical significance to promote the healthy and high-quality development of farmers’ professional cooperatives in Pingnan County.

  Methods/Procedures  The development status and the problems of internal management, own operation, financing difficulties of farmers’ professional cooperatives in Pingnan County were analyzed in this paper through field investigation, and the countermeasures were put forward.

  Results/Conclusions  Based on the analysis of the problems, combined with the actual development of Pingnan, this paper put forward countermeasures such as improving internal management, regularly strengthening personnel training, and expanding financing channels.
