Objective/Meaning  The industrial cooperation between Fujian and Taiwan is an important part of the exchange and development between Fujian and Taiwan. It is of great significance to promote the integrated development of the cultural and creative industries in Fujian and Taiwan in the new era for the economic, cultural and social development of the two places.

  Methods/Procedures  The cooperation of the cultural and creative industries between Fujian and Taiwan had the advantages such as the close geographical location, cultural homogeneity, complementary resource endowment and government’s policy assistance. So, an in-depth analysis was carried out on the current situation of the cooperation of cultural and creative industries between Fujian and Taiwan by using the method of literature.

  Results/Conclusions  The study found that the cooperation between Fujian and Taiwan in the cultural and creative industries has achieved remarkable results, which were mainly reflected in the expansion of cooperation scope, the construction of cooperation platform and the enrichment of cooperation forms. However, there were still some challenges in the cooperation, such as the division and obstruction of the Taiwan authorities, the incomplete industrial chain, the imperfect mechanism of talent cultivation and flow, and the imperfect system of policies and regulations. Therefore, the countermeasures and suggestions were put forward, including optimizing the development environment of the cultural and creative industries in Fujian and Taiwan, strengthening the connection of cultural and creative industry chains in Fujian and Taiwan, improving the mechanism of talent cultivation and flow, improving the system of policies and regulations, and deepening the cooperation depth of cultural and creative industries in Fujian and Taiwan, hoping to promote the cooperation and development of cultural and creative industries on both sides of the Straits.
