Purpose/Significance   The revitalization of rural culture is the soul-casting project of rural revitalization. However, in reality, although the countryside has rich cultural resources, it faces the dilemma of no one inheriting and developing them, as well as the phenomenon of a large amount of idleness and waste. In this regard, summarizing the generalized cultural resources development model through typical case analysis can help provide reference for solving the dilemma of cultural resources development.

  Methodology/Procedure   Taking Yuanjia Village in Shanxi Province as an example, the generalized rural cultural resource development model of “Excavation-Integration-Promotion” is summarized by analyzing its existing cultural resources, integration and promotion mechanism, and the feasibility of the model is discussed by means of SWOT analysis.

  Results/Conclusions   The “Excavation-Integration-Promotion” rural cultural resources development model has the advantages of being holistic, referable, and quantifiable.
