Abstract:
Objective/Meaning Giving the farmers more sense of gain is an important issue in rural revitalization, and the sense of economic gain is the primary manifestation of the sense of gain. Through analyzing the impact of the implementation of rural revitalization strategy on farmers’ sense of economic gain in Chaozhou City and Meizhou City, the ways to improve the farmers’ sense of economic gain were explored, in order to provide reference for further promoting the rural revitalization and enhancing the farmers’ sense of economic gain.
Methods/Procedures By using the questionnaire survey method and taking Chaozhou City and Meizhou City in Guangdong Province as examples, the impact of rural revitalization on the local farmers’ sense of economic gain was discussed in this paper, and then the difference in the sense of economic gain between urban residents and rural residents was compared and analyzed.
Results/Conclusions The results showed that the implementation of the rural revitalization strategy has promoted the rural economic development of Chaozhou City and Meizhou City ,but there were still some problems existed in the process of its promotion, such as the insufficient propaganda of rural revitalization, insufficient benefits and opportunities for farmers, low overall income level of farmers, and the problem of urban-rural gap has not been effectively resolved, etc. Based on this, the improvement measures were put forward including strengthening the propaganda of rural revitalization, improving the human capital of farmers, promoting the high-quality development of industries, making finance play the supporting role, and listening to the opinions on people’s livelihood.
