Abstract:
【Objective/Meaning】Combined with the actual problems in the development of family farms engaging in crop production, the index system was constructed to evaluate the performance of family farms and its influencing factors, so as to provide the countermeasures for improving the performance level of family farms engaging in crop production and promoting their healthy and orderly development. 【Methods/Procedures】Based on the survey data of 104 plantation family farms, the index system for evaluating the performance of family farms was established. The factor analysis was used to divide the performance of family farms into 16 indicators from 5 levels of innovation, operation, society, economy and ecology, and the stepwise regression analysis was used to determine 11 indicators from 3 levels of farm itself, market and policy to study the influencing factors of each performance. 【Results/Conclusions】The weight and score of each performance were obtained by the analysis, and the results showed that the overall performance of family farms was not ideal: the level of education of farmers and the degree of close connection with the stakeholders had the widest impact on the performance, while the difficulty of farmland transfer and financing had negative impact on the performance; and the improvement of the socialized service system of agriculture had no significant effect on each performance. In order to improve the performance of farms engaging in crop production, the suggestions were put forward from five aspects, including enhancing the quality of talents, strengthening the connection of interests, improving the efficiency of farmland transfer, reducing the difficulty of financing, and improving the socialized service system of agriculture.
