Abstract: 【Objective/Meaning】The rural ecological revitalization is the ecological foundation for the overall rural revitalization, the key starting point and internal driving force for the implementation of the rural revitalization strategy, and the response to the practical problems in rural areas in the context of ecological civilization. Facing the realistic dilemma of rural ecological revitalization and exploring the way to break it are beneficial to improving the rural ecological environment. 【Methods/Procedures】The literature research method and analytical induction method were used to analyze and summarize the realistic predicament existing in the rural ecological revitalization, and the corresponding practical paths were proposed in view of these realistic predicament. 【Results/Conclusion】At present, the revitalization of rural ecology was faced with the practical difficulties such as a lack of consciousness of ecological civilization, insufficient “toilet revolution” in rural areas, and serious destruction of rural ecological resources. In order to solve these practical difficulties, it was necessary to strengthen the cultivation of farmers’ awareness of ecological civilization, intensify the rural “toilet revolution”, and adhere to the protection and planning of rural ecological resources.
