Abstract: 【Objective/Meaning】Grasping the development status of Taiwan region's electronic information industry in the Chinese mainland and analyzing its influencing factors in the process of locational choice in the Chinese mainland are conducive to promoting the integration and optimization of the cross-strait electronic information industry.【Methods/Procedures】Based on the panel data of 18 provinces and cities in the Chinese mainland from 2007 to 2018,the influencing factors and heterogeneity of FDI locational choice of Taiwan region's electronic information industry in Chinese mainland were analyzed.【Results/Conclusions】The investment scale of Taiwan region's electronic information industry in Chinese mainland has continued to decline and the FDI location has been gradually expanded and transferred to the central and western regions.The main factors affecting the FDI of Taiwan region's electronic information industry in Chinese mainland included the labor cost,education level of labor force,accumulation level of Taiwan region's capital in the early stage and tax burden level.Therefore,the Chinese and Taiwan mainland should strengthen the connection of electronic information industry,promote the industrial integration,and deepen the economic and trade exchanges.
