Abstract: 【Objective/Meaning】 Fujian Zhao'an County had a long history of planting green plums and was the largest main producing area of green plums in China. The planting area and output of green plums accounted for nearly 1/3 of the whole country,making it“the hometown of green plums in China”. But there were also some existing constraints which should be solved in time. 【Methods/Procedures】 By analyzing the current situation of green plum industry in Zhaoan,the ideas for the transformation and upgrading of green plum industry were explored in terms of the problems existing in planting,processing & production,marketing and brand building. 【Results/Conclusions】 The countermeasures for the development of green plum industry in Zhaoan were put forward including improving the product quality by perfecting the standards and strengthening the supervision,pushing the integrated development of the three industries by highlighting its unique features and making the processing stronger,building up its own brand of green plum by cultivating the entity and expanding the channel,and promoting the sustainable and healthy development of industry by planning and strengthening the guarantee.
