Abstract:
【Objective/Meaning】 By taking Fujian Province as a case, the spatial distribution patterns and causes of propoor tourism key villages were explored in this study,so as to provide theoretical basis and optimization strategies for the poverty alleviation of rural tourism in Fujian Province. 【Methods/Procedures】 By taking the 472 pro-poor tourism key villages in Fujian Province as the research objects, the spatial distribution pattern and influencing factors of pro-poor tourism key villages were analyzed quantitatively by means of the spatial analysis methods and relevant mathematical models. 【Results/Conclusions】(1) The analysis of spatial distribution patterns showed that the spatial distribution of pro-poor tourism key villages in Fujian Province showed significant agglomeration, and the spatial distribution was unbalanced at different scales of the municipal level and county level.(2) The analysis of the spatial correlation showed that there was strong positive correlation in pro-poor tourism key villages, which presented a cluster of High-High and Low-Low similarity. The High-High cluster areas were mainly distributed in eastern and western Fujian, while the Low-Low cluster areas were mainly distributed in southern and central Fujian.(3) The analysis of kernel density showed that the main core area of the pro-poor tourism key villages was located in the mountainous area in the northeast of Ningde City in eastern Fujian, and the two sub-core areas were located in the central part of Ningde City in eastern Fujian and Sanming City in western Fujian,respectively.(4) The spatial distribution patterns of key villages were mainly affected by the factors such as the regional resource endowment, topography, traffic location, policy orientation and so on.
