Abstract: 【Objective/Meaning】It is helpful to promote the transformation and upgrading of forest industry in China to explore the development status and existing problems of forest industry for health maintenance in China and put forward the corresponding countermeasures.【Methods/Procedures】By means of the literature analysis and collecting the relevant data at home and abroad,the rise and development of forest industry for health maintenance were expounded in this paper.Then,the development mode and development basis of forest industry for health maintenance in China were discussed.Last,the problems faced by the development of forest industry for health maintenance in China were summarized.【Results/Conclusions】At present,there were some problems existed in the forest industry for health maintenance in China,such as insufficient policy support,shortage of professional talents,backward infrastructure and imperfect market access mechanism,etc.Accordingly,some countermeasures were put forward to promote the healthy development of forest industry for health maintenance in China,including strengthening the policy support,constructing the talent cultivation system,perfecting the infrastructure construction and standardizing the industrial order,etc.
