Abstract:
【Objective/Meaning】 By taking Fujian Province as a case, the spatial distribution characteristics and influencing factors of red tourism resources were explored in this paper, so as to provide useful reference for the effective management of red tourism resources, the inheritance and protection of red tourism resources and its tourism development.【Methods/Procedures】 With the help of ARCGIS software, the GIS spatial analysis was carried out, and the qualitative and quantitative analysis of red tourism resources in Fujian Province was carried out by combining the mathematical statistical methods such as the nearest neighbor index, unbalanced index and kernel density estimation. 【Results/Conclusions】 The results showed that the spatial distribution of red tourism resources in Fujian Province showed a tendency of agglomeration. In terms of the spatial distribution equilibrium, the distribution among the 9 prefecture-level cities was unbalanced, and the spatial distribution density indicated that the research resource points formed a significant first-level agglomeration in Longyan City. Through the spatial clustering analysis, it was further found that the red resources were "dumbbell structure" in space as a whole, that was, they were more dense in Sanming, Longyan and Mount Wuyi in Western Fujian and the coastal areas of Fuzhou and Xiamen. In terms of the influencing factors, such factors as revolutionary historical sites, landform, accessibility of transportation, overall level of regional economic development and policy environment significantly affected the spatial distribution of red tourism resources in Fujian Province.
