Abstract:
【Objective/Meaning】Since the Belt and Road Initiative was put forward,the export scale and international competitiveness of vegetables in Fujian Province have been greatly improved.However,due to the limitations of technical conditions and human resources,there were also many problems in the vegetable industry in Fujian Province.The development path of vegetable industry in Fujian Province was explored in this paper,thus to provide help for promoting the export competitiveness of vegetables in Fujian Province.【Methods/Procedures】Based on the international market share,trade competitiveness index,export growth advantage,revealed comparative advantage and revealed comparative advantage of net export,the export competitiveness of vegetables in Fujian Province under the the Belt and Road Initiative was analyzed,and then the conclusion was drawn.【Results/Conclusions】Through the analysis,it was found that although the international competitiveness of vegetable export in Fujian Province had advantages,it was relatively weak.Therefore,the development path of vegetable industry in Fujian Province was put forward from the aspects including improving the infrastructure,training technology and talents;focusing on quality and brand;cultivating leading enterprises of export-oriented vegetable industry;strengthening the cooperation with countries along the Belt and Road and expanding diversified markets,etc.
