Abstract: 【Objective/Meaning】The cooperation and counterpart assistance for poverty alleviation in the eastern and western regions of China is a grand strategy to promote the coordinated development, synergetic development and common development among regions. The innovation of agricultural model for poverty alleviation collaboratively is conducive to promoting the cooperation for poverty alleviation in the eastern and western regions and achieving the win-win cooperation in the eastern and western regions. 【Methods/Procedures】Through the field research in Ningxia, the data were collected in the form of discussion, and then combined with the literature review and data collation, the status quo, effectiveness and existing problems of agricultural cooperation in the eastern and western regions were analyzed by taking the agricultural cooperation in Fujian and Ningxia as an example under the “Fujian-Ningxia model”. 【Results/Conclusions】Over the past 20 years, the cooperation between the eastern and the western regions has developed from unidirectional poverty alleviation to industrial cooperation and mutual assistance, namely from “blood transfusion” single poverty alleviation to “hematopoietic” cooperative development, and the remarkable results have been achieved. But there were also great differences existed in the eastern and western regions of China such as the agricultural management ideas, technological levels, management modes and so on. Therefore, the countermeasures were put forward under the background of current rural revitalization and precise poverty alleviation, including that the eastern and western provinces and regions of China should lead the cooperation through innovation, coordination, green development, openness and sharing, and further broaden the ideas and innovate the models, and also constantly promote the resource sharing and platform co-construction terms of capital input, development philosophy, project management and talent introduction, thus to strive to foster a sound situation of common prosperity and win-win cooperation.
