Abstract: 【Objective/Meaning】At present the energy consumption in most rural areas was mainly traditional energy sources such as coal, firewood and so on. The promotion and industrialization of new energy sources in rural areas were summarized to promote the study on the promotion and industrialization of new energy sources in rural areas, thus to realize the rational utilization of resources, reduce environmental pollution, and promote the economic development and environmental governance in rural areas.【Methods/Procedures】The method of literature analysis was used to sort out, analyze and summarize the domestic and foreign literatures on the promotion of new energy sources in rural areas and new energy industry.【Results/Conclusions】The results showed that, on the one hand, the previous studies mostly defined new energy sources at the energy level, and there was no systematic study on the industrialization of new energy sources. On the other hand, the promotion of new energy sources, especially the promotion and industrialization of rural new energy targeted at a certain micro-region was short of research. Therefore, the research on the promotion and industrialization of new energy sources in rural areas had profound practical significance and deserved our attention.
