Abstract: 【Objective/Meaning】Taiwan's leisure agriculture has achieved certain results through long-term exploration.Under the background of the strategy of vigorously promoting rural revitalization and realizing agricultural transformation in mainland China,the successful experience of Taiwan's leisure agriculture can provide reference for realizing the standardized and sustainable development of leisure agriculture in mainland China and driving the transformation of agricultural industrial structure.【Methods/Procedures】The methods of literature research and case analysis were used to sort out the characteristics of the main development stages of leisure agriculture in Taiwan and sum up the types of leisure agriculture in Taiwan.Then,the main operation and development modes were summarized,and the development characteristics of leisure agriculture in Taiwan were analyzed from the aspects of government planning,scale construction,characteristic maintenance and non-governmental organization.【Results/Conclusions】While developing the leisure agriculture in mainland China,in consideration of the specific situation and advantages,the sustainable development of leisure agriculture in mainland China should be realized by strengthening the overall planning and layout of leisure agriculture,establishing and perfecting the legal system,encouraging the participation of non-governmental organizations,expanding the industrial chain of leisure agriculture and building the brand advantages.
