Abstract: 【Objective/Meaning】Based on the perspective of coordinating urban and rural areas, the newer and more efficient rural development model for Fujian in the post-poverty era was explored to provide support for the poverty alleviation work in Fujian under the context of new era development background and to improve the stability and sustainability of poverty alleviation.【Methods/Procedures】Using literature and system theory, we summarized the developing process of poverty alleviation policy, explored the internal logic of coordinating urban and rural development and poverty alleviation, and analyzed the plight of Fujian's poverty alleviation work in the post-poverty era.【Results/Conclusions】Based on the above results, it was proposed to establish a scientific multi-dimensional poverty alleviation standard system, to build a unified public service system in urban and rural areas, to optimize the income structure of poor people in rural areas, to carry out doctor contracting services for poor families, and to build incentive mechanism for social organizations' participation in poverty alleviation as the construction emphasis and institutional arrangements in the post-poverty era.
